A Word from our Sponsor

Just a note to reiterate the reasons why you should choose our firm to prepare your comprehensive estate plan:

  • Experience: Mr. Collins has been counseling clients for over four decades. Our sole area of practice is estate planning and administration. Because we have encountered such a wide array of family and personal circumstances, we are able to identify potential problems and can often recommend solutions beyond the scope of less-seasoned practitioners.

  • Commitment to Service: Mr. Collins has assembled a team of lawyers and other professionals who work together to provide the highest quality of service available. We are committed to spending the time it takes to ascertain your needs, answer your questions and address your concerns.

  • Completion of the Entire Plan: Many attorneys can draft legal documents. Our Complete Estate Planning Portfolio includes not only the Declaration of Trust itself, the Pour-Over Will, General Durable Power-of-Attorney, and Advance Medical Directive, but several other instruments to achieve all your goals as well as a complete set of instructions for your family and successor trustee in the event of your death or incapacity.

  • Funding the Trust: Drafting the documents is only half the job. Transferring your assets to the trust is equally important, but many firms offer only general guidance in completing this step. We not only prepare the deeds, but also supply you with a comprehensive set of stock powers, assignments and other forms you will need to complete the project.

  • The Flat Fee: We will quote a flat fee for our services prior to any obligation on your part. No hourly rates, no extra charges for phone calls, no hidden extras.
In short, by choosing The Collins Firm you will have the peace of mind of knowing that you are getting experienced advice, that the work will be done right and the job finished - all for a reasonable flat fee you approve in advance.

If you have any questions or if we may be of service please give us a call.

Very truly yours,

Michael T. Collins

A Word About Fees

Concern about the cost of legal services keeps more people from seeking competent counsel than any other single factor. Our firm's approach to fees is quite straightforward:

  1. People who have attended our seminar are entitled to a free initial consultation with one of our lawyers. During your initial meeting, we will make our recommendations regarding your various estate planning options and quote a flat fee for the work to be done. If, for any reason, you do not feel comfortable proceeding at that time, you will owe us nothing and we will consider it a privilege to have visited with you.

  2. The quoted fee will be fair and reasonable. You will never be charged a penny more for experienced, professional service.
